Roman Novak, former partner of Pavel Durov, caused a conflict and split among Fintopio investors and Telegram holders
Roman Novak stated that he never intended to close the project. On September 27, in the Fintopio chat, he mentioned plans to rebuild the product from the ground up “without notcoin and without major (Roxman’s project),” while leaving matters concerning “scam and ragpool” to the Ton community.
Novak also stated that he (@delux) would become the ambassador of the project, hinting that the product had been “squashed” by Durov and his friends. Now, he himself would be “at the helm.”
At the same time, Roman Novak admitted in one of the chats that he had said too much.
It is noteworthy that all of Novak’s sharp messages in the Fintopio chat were deleted. They can still be found through a bot that specializes in parsing messages from public Telegram chats.
Under the pressure of the news and circumstances, Roxman commented on the situation very cautiously, distancing himself from his friend and partner:
“Regarding @novak, who was on our wall sharing various stories, I’ll add a few words myself. A little over a year ago, we met in a chat for holders of numbers and usernames. Back then, I offered him to buy the username @miniapp — he had already purchased @webapp and others before, and that’s how we started communicating.
